French Toast Breakfast

Made this for Cherie’s breakfast this morning. Simple, fast and tasty. Another variation could be spreading the egg on only one side, frying it, then spreading some cheese and onions on the egg side, covering it with another toast, egg side inside and grilling in a sandwich toaster.

French Toast Breakfast
  • 6 slices of bread
  • 1 egg beaten
  • 2 tbsp milk
  • Salt and pepper
  • Some oil for frying


  1. Break the eggs into a bowl. Add the milk, season with salt and pepper and beat well.
  2. Dip each slice of bread, on both sides into the egg mixture
  3. In a few drops of oil on a non-stick pan, fry the egg-soaked bread on both sides till golden brown.
  4. Serve with tomato ketchup
