Double Decker Snacker

A recipe for an exquisite piece of crockery by Urbandazzle.

Continuing with creating dishes for the lovely crockery sent over by Urban Dazzle, here’s how I used their 2 Piece Cocktail Snack Glasses.

Double Decker Snacker


  • Red Bell Pepper
  • Yellow Bell Pepper
  • Any hard cheese (I used Grana Padano)
  • Salami, diced (substitute if a vegetarian dish is required)
  • Cherry tomatoes, whole
  • Mushrooms, sliced
  • Basil leaves, fresh
  • Refined Oil
  • Extra Virgin Olive Oil
  • Black Olives
  • Onions, peeled, quartered, separated
  • Jalapenos
  • Oregano, dried
  • Fresh ground black pepper
  • Salt to season


  1. Roast, cover, cool and peel your bell peppers. Set aside.
  2. Finely chop the black olives; set aside.
  3. Heat some refined oil in a pan.
  4. Throw the salami, mushrooms, basil leaves, onions, jalapenos in.
  5. Toss well and season as required (salt, pepper and oregano)
  6. When the mushrooms are cooked, add the cherry tomatoes.
  7. Stir fry on a hot flame for half a minute so the tomatoes warm through.
  8. Take off the flame, drizzle a little extra-virgin olive oil and toss.


  1. Add the mixture from the pan to the lower section of the snack glass.
  2. Place the peeled bell peppers in the upper section of the snack glass.
  3. Add the olives and cheese shavings to the bell peppers.
  4. Stack
  5. Serve
