Colocasia (arbi) and Tomatoes

[singlepic id=427 w=320 h=240 float=left]Here’s a quick daily recipe for Colocasia (Arbi in Hindi) with Tomatoes.

1. Peel and cut the colocasia into strips
2. Cut your tomatoes into strips
3. Chop some onions
4. Heat a little oil
5. Add cumin seeds (jeera), followed by the onions
6. Add some chilli powder, turmeric powder and salt
7. Add the colocasia and stir fry for a few minutes
8. Add the tomatoes
9. Bring the heat down to a simmer and cook covered until done.

Serve with hot rotis.
