Boiled Mutton with Cumin and Garlic

Boiled meat flavored with cumin and garlic.


  • 1 kg meat (red meat suggested), 2″ pieces
  • 1 tsp cumin seed
  • 5 cloves garlic, smashed
  • salt to taste


  1. Pressure cook or boil all ingredients together with 1 cup of water to the level of preferred firmness .
  2. Drain and serve with a bowl of yogurt whipped with a little finely chopped garlic, olive oil and chopped cucumber.
  3. Garnish with finely chopped parsley with lemon if desired.
