Sid started Chef at Large in 2007 after quitting his position managing software research and development for medical electrophysiological diagnostics. Sid enjoys reading, cooking, travelling, crockery and meeting new people among other interests. A practising Freemason, Sid likes exploring street food across cultures and his most recent interest is in health and wellness.
Director - Technology
A graduate of IIT Bombay, Sandeep has an extensive background in software and technology management. Profoundly interested in coffee, a lover of food, gadgets and cutlery, Sandeep is an inveterate gadget hacker even hacking his coffee machine and electric shaver for better results. He enjoys scuba diving, street food and has a particular affinity towards the Borgs.
Director - Sales
With an extensive background in public relations and digital strategies, Amit understands the capabilities of digital networks and how to connect them with the needs of commercial entities. Well travelled and always looking for a good conversation, Amit also has exposure to training delivery. Amit works out of Delhi and can sometimes be found stalking airports.

Rhea is a qualified archaeologist who found her calling with food and writing. A respected food blogger and an excellent cook, Rhea manages content quality at Chef at Large, in addition to moderating multiple Chef at Large forums, in her inimitable, no-nonsense style. Rhea also helps cover Mumbai for Chef at Large. She can usually be found quaffing pork at Ling's Pavilion.

Charis Alfred Bhagianathan is a fitness enthusiast, baker, foodie, professional editor and talented writer. Charis loves baking and sharing, her favourite being cupcakes of all sorts. An incorrigible meat eater and voracious reader, Charis is in the US and covers New York for Chef at Large. Charis explores crossfit techniques and stalks celebrity chefs in her spare time.
Lead - Social Media
A Chartered Accountant by training and profession, Sujata is based out of Bangalore and puts her training to good use with managing Chef at Large's Social Media presence with the help of a 17 member strong team of volunteers to help her. A keen cook, organized thinker, avid foodie and even more talented professional, Sujata approaches her role with logic and calm, ensuring our social media presences are well managed.
Manish is based out of the UK and helps Chef at Large manage its massive online community. An IT specialist by day and swashbuckling moderator by night, Manish is a great cook with an eye for detail who is immersed in the world of cartoons and humour. He is currently working on his most challenging project - a new son who's cute as a button.
Blessy works with Rhea and Manish to help manage our massive Facebook communities. Though she's a little too soft-hearted for the bans our rules prescribe, she manages to get her point across through her patience and kindness, which she appears to have an inexhaustible supply of. Blessy recently moved to the UK to further her education and is an expert baker.

An inveterate businessman based out of Dubai, Vijay Nair is a keen epicurean who enjoys being exposed to foods from all over. An avid spiritualist who cherishes his time spent meditating, Vijay coordinates events with CaL members all over the world, ensuring Chef at Large standards are maintained from start to finish and every event is a success in its own right.
A glutton for waffles, Rituparna maintains a food blog and loves desserts and baking. Rituparna helps Chef at Large keep editorial timelines by ensuring authors and contributors send in their assignments on time, thus ensuring our readers receive their reads in a timely manner. Based out of Delhi, Rituparna can be found hanging around waffle outlets.
Kuki prowls the streets of Chennai looking for great food and restaurants. A brilliant baker who runs her own gourmet food and dessert catering unit, Kuki loves reading, music and is a great singer too! Travelling and cooking for friends bring her great joy and she is particularly attached to her family home in the state of Kerala, where she returns from time to time to rejuvenate mind, body and spirit.
Nisha loves food and everything else that's associated with it. Based out of the US, she enjoys exploring books and not necessarily the recently published variety, preferring to hunt out quaint tomes on little known cuisines and even lesser known aspects of popular cuisines. This passion is more than reflected in the visible depth of thought in Nisha's book and product reviews.
Working out of Dubai, Devangi has an energetic pre-schooler to handle, as well as the eating out scene in Dubai, both of which she does with grace and flair. Tough as nails and a complete sucker for a well-cooked meal, Devangi enjoys subtle Mediterranean flavours, appreciates thought through décor and firmly believes in the presence of discipline.
Siddhanth is a chef by training and profession, currently runs his own catering unit in Bangalore in addition to a food truck - The Spirfire BBQ, which makes him the coolest one in the CaL team. Soft spoken outside the kitchen and an absolute terror in the kitchen, Siddhanth reveres pork and can well be considered a master in all that can be done with a grill and some meat.
Gauthami is Siddhanth's partner in crime, running Sprinkled - The Boutique Bakery, and Spitfire BBQ, their very well known food truck, in addition to helping Chef at Large cover Bangalore. A chef by training and a BHM graduate, Gauthami specializes in the Culinary Sciences and Pastry Arts. She enjoys baking, barbecuing and everything else that's associated with food.
A tech consultant by profession, Abhishek is a keen food enthusiast as well as a grammar Nazi. Travelling the country in pursuit of his profession also enables him to sample wares from all over. Equally passionate about street food and fine dining, Abhishek helps Chef at Large cover Bangalore in addition to acting as an Editor at large, tweaking content as required.
